Happy New Year!

Hello hello!


It’s that time of the year again when I share a new calendar with you—an annual tradition that has become my way of passing along a little piece of the world as I’ve seen and experienced it.
 This year’s calendar is a curated, all-be-it a slightly haphazard, journey through Italy’s historic, artistic, and archaeological landmarks, some popular, some relatively lesser known.

Each photograph has been carefully selected, moments when a certain slant of light, a quiet alley, a weathered stone, or an unexpected encounter transformed a place into something unforgettable. Behind every image lies a story or incident that made it worthy of being held still, if only for a moment, within these pages.
 

But beyond being a travelogue, this year’s calendar carries a deeper message: a reflection on the transient nature of time and life itself. Just as ancient ruins soften under centuries of wind and frescoes fade with age, our experiences too drift gently into memory. These images and the stories behind them are meant to be lived with briefly— cherished for the month they accompany, and then released, just as we release each passing moment.


I hope this calendar inspires you to pause, take in what is before you, or perhaps even relive your own memories with a smile and savour the present with a full heart. And when the days move on, may it also remind you to let go with grace, trusting that every ending makes space for something new.
